Vom Strand her ein Blick auf die Kunsthochschule College of Arts. Schwerpunkte Musik, Theater, Tanz. Bekannt und gefragt in ganz Ostafrika. Über die Grenzen hinweg besonders durch das Ensemble der Bagamoyo-Players bekannt geworden; es trat z.B. auch auf der Expo in Hannover auf.
Am 31.1.2002 brannte das ganze Gebäude ab. Das Foto stimmt also nicht mehr. Inzwischen ist ein neues Gebäude errichtet.

Das Bagamoyo College of Arts (Tasuba) ist die einzige staatliche Kunsthochschule Ostafrikas.

View of the College of Art from the beach. The college concentrates on music,theatre and dance and is well known and well thought of in East Africa. It's internationally known ensemble, the Bagamoyo Players, performed at the Expo in Hannover. The photo is out of date : the theatre was destroyed by fire on 31.01.2002. But a new building is now erected.
